Tianjin Julong Group

The chronicle of the Tianjin Julong Group was started by Tianjin-born Mr. Yang Xue Jiang who, after having worked with Tianjin Beichen Grain Bureau for 12 years, initiated the Tianjin Julong Trade Co. Ltd. company. This was followed by the hugely successful Tianjin Longwit Oils and Grains Industrial Co. Ltd.

Under the efficient executive ability of Mr. Yang, the companies he founded grow by leaps and bounds. This led to the formation of Tianjin Julong Group in 2003, just ten years after his first business startup. Tianjin Julong Group acts as an umbrella corporation for all its direct subsidiaries.

Tianjin Julong Group, now headquartered in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, comprises of five subsidiaries. They are:

  • Tianjin Longwit Oils & Grains Industrial Co.Ltd.
  • Tianjin Julong Oils & Grains Co.Ltd. Tianjin Bohai Rim region
  • Jingjiang Longwit Oils & Grains Industrial Co.Ltd.
  • Jingjiang Longwit Port Services Co.Ltd., Jiangsu province (at the lower reaches of the Yangtze River)
  • PT Graha Inti Jaya, Indonesia.

The integration of the five subsidiaries’ operations enables the Group to cover the complete palm oil industrial line from upstream cultivation of oil palm, oil processing, storage and transportation to downstream packaging and marketing of consumer packaged vegetable oils. This also includes research and development in oils and fats products, making the Group into one of the oldest, largest and most influential leading enterprises in the palm oil industry of China.

Mr. Yang was appointed as the Group’s President and has served since 2003. Mr. Yang holds an MBA from the Institute of International Commerce of Nankai University. In 2004, he completed his studies from the Chairman Business School in Faculty of Economics of Tsinghua University.

Tianjin Julong Group

Tianjin Julong Group is an integrated oils and fats enterprise covering operations from oil palm cultivation, oil processing, storage, trading, research and development right to consumer packaging. The business network of the Group spans across the mainland of China. To achieve the strategic planning and positioning, the Group has set up one oil palm plantation division in Indonesia and two industrial bases at Binhai New Coastal Area in Tianjin and Jingjiang Coastal Industrial Base in Jiangsu Province.

Awards and Recognition

Tianjin Julong Group’s contributions to the economics growth of China, particularly in the palm oil and food production industries have enabled them to be nationally recognized. Tianjin Julong Group was honored with the title ‘Top 100 Enterprises of Tianjin’ for two consecutive years, in 20081 and 20092‘ respectively.
