Ms. Zhang Ying
Executive Director – Operations
Ms. Zhang Ying graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Tianjin Nankai University in 2001 and with a Master of Business Administration from Deakin University, Australia in 2006.
She has been attached with Tianjin Julong Group, a leading Chinese palm oil company since 2001 and has held various positions within the group including trading operations, human resource management, administrative operations, financial controlling and investment management.
In 2006, Ms. Zhang Ying has been appointed as the Executive Director of Operations for Oriental Pacific Futures. She is also the current vice-president of Tianjin Longwit Oils and Grains Industrial Co Ltd.
According to her, the role of a futures broker is not just about providing investment instruments and broking services but rather also about providing a solution to meet the rapidly evolving business and investment needs of the clients. Success to her is the true understanding of the ‘win-win’ concept. She believes one should always try to put oneself in the shoes of the customers and partners and working from that vantage point to offer products and provide solutions.
The willingness to walk the extra mile to achieve excellence, together with a great team spirit at Oriental Pacific Futures is the source of confidence other than intelligence and creativity. The team is always willing to go beyond the call of duty to ensure the overall success of the company.

Mr. Ricky Chin
Executive Director – Dealing
Mr. Ricky Chin, formerly of Okachi (M) Sdn Bhd, joined Oriental Pacific Futures in 2007 as Executive Director of Dealing. He brings with him 23 years of experience and expertise to his position. He held various positions of increasing responsibility within the futures and derivatives industry for various companies. He graduated with an LCCI Accounting and a KLCE and MME Floor Trading Qualification Programme.
Mr. Ricky believes that even though the derivatives market is not an easy industry, it’s not a hard industry to tackle either – as long as there are attempts, there ought to be results. As a futures broker, the aim is to educate investors on the derivatives market as well as to provide assurance of a positive return on investments providing the market is good.
His vision of Oriental Pacific Futures is to be an established futures broker and to be among the top player in the futures brokering industry.

Ms. Eunice Choo
Director of Marketing
Ms. Eunice Choo has a vast experience from back office to front office in the capital markets’ futures industry. She started in the Operations Department over 12 years ago and now is the Director of Marketing at Oriental Pacific Futures. She graduated with an Honors Degree of Economics from the National University of Malaysia and joined the futures industry since then.
Throughout the years in Dealing Department, Ms. Eunice Choo has handled various types of clients, from retail to corporate accounts, both locally and internationally. Since joining Oriental Pacific Futures, she is one of the key personnel in the management level in recruiting and training of personnel to ensure effectiveness of the daily operations of the company. She is responsible in developing marketing strategies, establishing and positioning the company in this fast changing derivatives industry.
Ms. Eunice Choo has rich experience in palm oil trading. She has 10 years experience in palm oil futures industry and has a vast knowledge in the operations of the physical palm oil market. She is currently a regular columnist in The Borneo Post, the largest newspaper in East Malaysia and Business Today, the premier business magazine in Malaysia.
