Global Markets Analysis – 05 May 2017

A commentary written by Tony Tong

• US soybean oil is hovering at the 60-day moving average, unable to edge up.
• Trading above the 60-day moving average of US soybean oil is needed to boost China and Malaysia edible oils.
• We shall pay close attention to the short-term performance of US soybean oil.

• Traders may retain long position but prepare to reduce palm oil long position if necessary.
