Gong Xi Fa Cai – Year of the Dragon 2012

Gong Xi Fa Cai - Year of the Dragon 2012

According to the Chinese calendar, 2012 is the Water Dragon year which is symbolized by two conflicting elements: water and earth. These conflicting elements mean the year will be full of setbacks and struggles as well as natural disasters such as flooding and earthquakes.

The global economy is predicted to be slow and investors are advised to be cautious especially during the second half of the year, according to Grand Master Raymond Lo.

Although the predictions may sound grim, there’s still hope for a better year as the Dragon is said to create excitement and unpredictability. Here’s wishing that the Water Dragon will bring much-needed peace and prosperity.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish all of our blog readers who celebrate the Lunar New Year good health, more wealth, plenty of luck and a safe holiday. Gong xi fa cai!
